Equine Media Services
Currently, working for Equireel, I set up over 25 HD cameras on the cross country courses of British Eventing fixtures all over the United Kingdom. I work autonomously, getting the best angles of the fence to show the rider and horse to their best. Often with one to two changes of the course, and camera placement, a day, with only 15-20 minutes to do it in, shooting through sunshine to howling gales, the work is extremely demanding with little room for error. We get as close the fence as possible, to show the size of the fence and get the dynamic action of the horse and rider going over it. An extensive knowledge of the sport and how horse can run out is imperative for the safety of everyone concerned.
West Wilts Equestrian Centre Promotional Video
This video was made for West Wilts to promote their competitive venue. Filmed by myself over two days of irregular weather at BE and BSJ events, the final video was set to music and each shot colour graded to match each other. The slow motion, especially with the show jumping almost because ballet like and is quite mesmerising.
